About the Design

This icon is known as The Black Madonna of Częstochowa. It was reimagined by LGBTQ+ rights activists in Poland who added the rainbow halos. Holy Communion is proud to feature the icon on t-shirts with permission from the artist. The artist asked that we donate proceeds from these t-shirts to an NGO known as Trans-fuzja which offers legal assistance and other resources to trans people in Poland
